Huffington Post Rolls Out New iPad App

AOL's Huffington Post today rolled out its new app for Apple's iPad and iPad mini. The new free app features extended sharing capabilities and a new video section, as well as different content for nine local editions.

The Huffington Post today launched its new iPad news app.

The new ad-supported app features extended sharing capabilities and a new video section, including a HuffPost Live archive. The app also is fully localized in French, Spanish and Italian and has different content for nine local editions, the company said.

Othe features include:

• A new design
• More intuitive navigation
• Users can now ?Favorite? sections, bookmark articles, like/fan authors and search all HuffPost content
• New slideshow section that includes photos, videos and tweets
• New Video section and HuffPost Live archive available within the app
• All International editions are supported
• Compatible with iPad and iPad Mini

The app is available for free at Apple?s App Store.
