Now, I made a post about this particular subject matter already, but I wanted to give it a bit more of a chance in the spotlight. I got a sneak peak at the pilot episode for the series, and SPOILERS?
It?s pretty awesome!!!
Why pay attention you might ask? Who is Patrick Scott Patterson? He had the following to say in regards to his upcoming series, which promises to break gaming stereotypes, or at least bring awareness to the table.
?Gaming culture is always around me. ?It?s how I make my living,? Patterson said. ??The idea that gamers are lazy kids, violent crazy people or what not simply isn?t true. ?They are everyday people. ?Professionals. ?Educated. ?Moms and dads.?
I can only say so much about what I saw, but what I can say is this. It?s a much needed look into how gamers get involved with helping others, interacting with others and attending events. It?s not all the fun and games some people seem to think. As I may have previously said, I look forward to what rolls out with this series.
?A lot of people have been wonderfully supportive of the project,? he said. ??They say they?ve been wanting to see something like it for a long time. ?I aim to deliver.?
Pay attention to your YouTube feeds, people. November 1st, prepare to be both educated and see gaming from a different light than you perhaps do right now.?Be sure to subscribe here.
