College at Brockport to hold rally against domestic violence

Students and staff at the College at Brockport will
participate in a rally Tuesday night to raise awareness of
domestic violence and to remember the student who was murdered
on campus last month.

The college says the event, "Take Back the Night," will feature several speakers, and a moment of silence for Alexandra Kogut, the Brockport freshman who was killed in her dorm room in late September. Students and staff will also light candles in memory of Kogut.

Following the rally, there will also be a march through the campus and into the Brockport village.

The rally begins at 7 p.m. in the College at Brockport Campus Mall.
